The book I Will Shout It Out Loud contains the lyrics of the song of the same name, performed in January 2024 at the Athens Concert Hall by Dionysis Savvopoulos. The book features illustrations by painter Nikos Koniaris and was published in the fall of 2025 by Kaleidoscope.
Let’s Catch the Sky (Pame na Piasoume Ourano)
Maria Fragoudaki’s poetry collection Let’s Catch the Sky, published by Metaixmio, is inspired by the boundless, selfless love of parents for their children. The book focuses on unconditional parental love, deep emotional connection, and the nuanced emotions parents often experience, while also evoking memories we all share with our own parents.
Written for both children and adults, the poems encourage readers to journey through their imagination and create their own images as they connect with their feelings, making each reading a unique and personal experience.
The collection also serves as a creative tool, offering material for interactive and creative activities that engage children meaningfully and bring them closer to poetry in a familiar way.
I Will Shout It Out Loud – A Song Dedicated to 30 Years of Amymoni
In January 2023, visual artist Maria Fragoudaki visited the Amimoni association to meet the children and their caregivers. She had given birth to her third child two months earlier and had just completed her first Art Acts 4 Kids initiative, which supported the Amimoni association. Emotionally charged as a new mother, she was deeply moved and at the same time inspired by the children, as well as by the unwavering dedication of the volunteers and caregivers who support them.
Seeing up close the daily effort, struggle, strength, and love the children show toward their caregivers, she wrote the lyrics for the song “I’ll Shout It Out Loud”—a song that began as a poem and was created to express her admiration, as well as to bring a sense of connection and empowerment into these children’s daily lives.
The song was composed by Alexandros Iakovou and recorded in May 2023 with the participation of a children’s choir. It premiered at a charity concert at the Athens Concert Hall under the artistic direction of Dionysis Savvopoulos, featuring acclaimed artists. The event celebrated 30 years of Amymoni, honoring its invaluable contribution to children and adults with visual impairments and other disabilities.
More than just a song, I Will Shout It Out Loud is a message of hope, strength, and unity.
